A gift that fools them first
A plain white bar of soap with crunchy bits inside. Squeeze it and you feel them under your fingers; stretch it and you see them through the white skin. Press a thumb in and the dent stays: no rebound, it holds the shape you give it until you change it again.
It is a squeeze toy, not soap: it does not lather, it does not clean, and it is not for water or the bathroom. One model, white, about the size of a real bar of soap, in its clear box.
