Description

If your kid keeps asking you for squishies, this is the box that answers it once. Instead of one more squishy that lasts a week, they make six of their own: about $6 a squishy, a whole afternoon of mixing, filling and pressing, and six toys nobody else has, because they made them.

Six moulds come in the box, four round balls and two cat paws, and everything that goes inside them is already portioned out. Clear gel, ultra-light clay in four colours, glitter, sugar sprinkles, pastel beads, laser stars, tiny cherries and kiwi slices. You spread the gel on the tray, they choose what goes in, it gets mixed, pressed into a mould, sealed with a cable tie or a drop of glue, and that is one finished squishy. No two ever come out the same.

What comes out is genuinely soft and slow-rising. Press a paw flat and it takes its time coming back, which is the whole reason a child keeps picking it up long after the making is over. The clear ones hold their beads like a snow globe and rustle; the gel ones stretch.

Rated 6 years and up by the maker, and we keep that rating: the kit holds small parts and a tube of glue. No batteries, no screen, no sound.

They Stay Busy All Afternoon

Your child stays busy and plays the whole afternoon, and then comes back to it the next day.

Customers keep telling us the same thing: their children play for hours and really enjoy the whole thing. That happens because there are six squishies to make, not one. Finishing the first is the start, not the end.

They mix, they pour, they pick the mould. Then they squeeze what they made. One box, two kinds of afternoon.
She Stays Calm, No Screen Needed

She Stays Calm, No Screen Needed

It settles them. The mixing is slow, the squeezing is slower, and neither needs a screen.

Stirring the gel, folding in the glitter, pressing it into the mould: it is the kind of quiet, repetitive work that takes the edge off a long day. Then the finished squishy is soft and slow-rising, so pressing it flat and watching it come back is its own small reset.

Rather than buying a machine that does one thing, you get the whole craft in a box: ten bags of clear gel, four of ultra-light clay, and eleven more of glitter, beads, sprinkles, stars and fruit slices. No batteries, nothing to charge, nothing to plug in.
She Makes Her First One Herself

She Makes Her First One Herself

She makes them herself, start to finish, and they are hers.

Every bag arrives pre-portioned, so there is nothing to measure and nothing to buy on top. Plop the gel on the tray, add the glitter, mix, press it into the mould, seal it with a cable tie. That is the whole method, and a six-year-old runs it with you close by.

Six moulds and eighteen fillings mean no two ever come out the same. Everything stays in its own sealed bag until it is used, so the table stays clean and there is nothing to scrub afterwards. Glue, cable ties and a glove are all in the box. From six years, with an adult nearby for the glue.

Questions before you buy

Do we have to make them all at once?

No, and most families do not. The gel, the clay and the decorations come in their own sealed bags, so you can open what you need for one squishy and put the rest of the box back on the shelf. Six moulds means six sittings if you want them, which is what turns one box into several afternoons.

How long does one squishy take?

About ten minutes of making, then it is ready. Spread the gel on the tray, mix in whatever they have chosen, press it into a mould, close it with a cable tie or a drop of glue. The slow part is the choosing, not the making, and that is the part they enjoy.

Is it messy?

Less than slime. Everything happens on the tray that comes in the box, the gel does not stick to hands the way slime does, and a glove is included for the child who would rather not touch it at all. The beads and sprinkles are the things that travel, so a table beats a rug.

What age is it for?

Six years and up, which is the rating printed on the box and the one we keep. There are small beads, small fruit slices and a tube of glue in the kit, so a younger child needs an adult sitting next to them. Above six, most children get through a whole squishy on their own.

How fast will it get here?

We pack orders within 24 to 48 hours, then delivery runs 8 to 15 days with tracking the whole way. Shipping is $9.95, and free over $80.
